Krassner, 58, is a third generation
Pinellas County Resident and a graduate of Northeast High School. She
earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of South
Florida and Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova
Southeastern University. Over Krassner’s education career, she was a
teacher at Lynch Elementary, Pinellas Park Middle School and Morgan
Fitzgerald Middle School. She served as the Assistant Principal of
Starkey Elementary School and Principal of Westgate Elementary School
where she retired in 2008. Krassner lives in Largo with her husband Al
Bonnette. Their three children attend Osceola Middle School, Osceola
High School, and Boca Ciega High School/ St. Pete College- Early College
program. Krassner also has an adult son who is a graduate of St.
Petersburg High School’s International Baccalaureate Program. Krassner’s
father, Lee Benjamin, previously served on the Pinellas County School
Board from 1990-2004. Her late mother, Felice Benjamin, was a High
School and Middle School social studies teacher for 18 years. |
